The Maker REX bullet is precision CNC-machined from solid copper with engineered expansion channels. Upon impact, the REX projectile expands to nearly three times its original diameter (.338" to approximately .950") while maintaining 100% weight retention. This combination delivers maximum energy transfer and deep, straight-line penetration.

Keep in mind the 8.6 Blackout was designed with a sub-12 inch barrel in mind. This ammunition is designed for use in 16 inch barrels as well. Please refer to the chart below for muzzle velocity references.

All velocities remain subsonic (under 1100 fps). The 8.6 Blackout was engineered for optimal performance from 12" barrels as designed by Q, LLC.

Important Safety Notes

• Twist Rate Critical: This 350gr bullet will be safe to shoot in 1:3 and 1:5 twist 8.6 Blackout rifles. Slower twist rates may not stabilize the bullet correctly.
• Suppressor Requirement: Ensure your suppressor is rated for .338 caliber minimum. .30 cal suppressors will cause dangerous baffle strikes.
• Not for .308 Winchester or 6.5 Creedmoor: Despite case similarity, NEVER fire 8.6 Blackout in .308 Win or 6.5 CM chambers. This will cause catastrophic failure. Always ensure your using the proper cartridge for your rifle.
